Hockney Collage
Meet my favorite girls in the world! I just love this collage. To do this, you have your models pose for you and then you take digital pictures of different parts of their body. For example, just of their feet, then legs, then stomach, etc. Once you have all of your pictures developed you can glue them to a poster board! This was one of my favorite projects the semester!

Shadows
In Studio we did a Shadow project where we used items and shined a light through them so that they would make a cool shadow on our faces.
This is a picture of me with shadows on my face :) For this picture all I did was enchance the colors and made the shadows more intense using Photoshop. This is one my favorite shadow pictures because it has the best shadows and it is a good picture. It was hard to take a good picture with decent shadows on them! But we eventually were able to get it right and get some great pictures!

I think that this is a very cool picture! For this, I used the same picture as I did the one above and all I did was go crazy with all of the tools on Photoshop. When I was playing around with all of the tools, I discovered a tool that I had not used before. It is called HDR Toning and it's my new favorite tool :)

This picture is also my other favorite shadow picture! I love how cool the shadows are and it is a good quality picture. On Photoshop I, once again, enhanced all of the shadows and all of the colors that are in the picture. One cool thing that I did was that I burned and dodged some areas in the picture to make the shadows stand out more. If you burn an area on a picture, it will make that area darker. If you dodge an area with will make it lighter. So I dodged the areas where the shadows are and I burned the areas around them so that they would be able to stand out even more. It's pretty cool, I say!

Magazine Layout
This is my magazine layout. I decided to use these pictures because it was a really special moment to see my Grampa meeting his great-granddaughter. We were at my Dad's cousins house for a family reunion and it was a really nice summer day and it was just a great moment. To create this picture, in Photoshop, I started with a blank canvas. I started by looking online for a nice background and then I added the pictures. I had to crop them to what I wanted them to be and I put them on to this canvas. Then I chose the song Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder because it seemed like a perfect song for the pictures. Then I added the the caption, the date, and the page number. I just love it! :D

10 Picture Story
One day when I was babysitting I took my little neighbors up to the park and this is our journey to the park! The park is only two blocks away from our house so it isn't that far away. It was the perfect fall day with the pretty colored leaves on the trees and the perfect amount of leaves on the ground. So, of course, we had to stop every chance we got to play in the leaves. Once we were almost at the park the boys would walk a few houses and then they would run form each other and wrestle on people's lawns. It was fun to watch! To create this 10 picture story, in Photoshop, all I did was open a new canvas and I arranged the pictures of the boys in a way that would make the most sense. Once I was done arranging the pictures I put a filter over the whole final product so that it would look like all one piece. Cool, huh?

Jill Greenberg Effect
This is a Jill Greenberg effect. Jill Greenberg is a photograher that is best known for the shiny effect that she puts on her pictures. I used one of the pictures from my 10 picture story for this. It was really cool comparing my shiny effect and comparing it to Jill Greenberg's.
